TMS Sisterhood

Dear Women of Temple Mount Sinai:

As we look to a new year in 5785, we can appreciate how we've changed and adjusted over the last year.

In the past year, our Sisterhood members have actively participated in programs that have not only supported our traditions but also strengthened our bond. Together, we have achieved so much, from the successful Sugar Cookie Sales, where the funds raised went to the campership, to our memorable annual Sisterhood Shabbat. These are not just events, but milestones that
we have crossed together, reflecting our collective strength and commitment.

Temple Mount Sinai Women of Reform Judaism, our Sisterhood, invites you to continue and renew your Membership. We also encourage new members of our community to begin their Sisterhood Journey and join.
Congratulations to the new Sisterhood Board:

Diana Plesant , President
Mindy Dember, Vice President
Alison Westermann, Secretary (2nd year)
Sue Bendelin, Treasurer

Please complete the 2024-2025 membership form on the back of this letter. Please write checks payable to the Sisterhood of Temple Mount Sinai. Virtual payment arrangements are available and listed on the
membership form. If you submit your payment online, please mail or email your membership form so we may update our contact list!

Our Sisterhood will host the WRJ Pacific District Southwest Area Event this year with the Coming Together for Change theme. The PSW Area invitation reaches Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada, and it is an incredible opportunity to meet Sisterhood and Independent Members in our region.

We are excited to feature Lunch and Keynote Speaker
Susie Novik, as well as workshops led by local leaders -
Blanca Carasco, Mindy Dember, Mindy Escobar-Leanse, Rabbi Carla Fenves, and Ellen Goodman, Cantor Janece Cohen and WRJ PD Area Vice President Laurie
Kassman will join us from Tucson, AZ. Pacific District President Carol Schuster and Co-Vice Presidents
Flo Cohen and Lilian Silver, from California, will be visiting us, which is the farthest reach of the district!

You are encouraged to attend the Pacific Southwest Area Event from September 13 to 15. We look forward to building significant connections and demonstrating the richness of the El Paso Jewish Community! You may find more information community emails and here:
