Gesher - The Joy of Judaism

Gesher is a class for newborn babies to children 3 years of age and their parent/guardians. Gesher will be held on the third Sunday of every month from 11 A.M. - 12 P.M.

Gesher focuses on learning through music, repetition and hands-on activities.
The word gesher, which comes from the Hebrew word for bridge, is an opportunity for families with young children to learn and socialize together, creating the bridge from home life to Jewish community. 

All Gesher families are also welcome to participate in the Family Learning Days (see calendar for special dates).

We understand that some families may be new to town or unsure of where they would like to join for membership. Gesher is open to all families who are applicable for the class. We have two different prices for families who are members of Temple Mount Sinai or Congregation B'nai Zion ($108/year) and those who are not yet members ($160/year).

From time to time your child’s photo may be taken in our classrooms or special events.  We use these photos in the Temple bulletin or to share with the greater community through the Jewish Federation. Please indicate above if you give us permission to use a photo with your child(ren). Thank you.
